Ease of Use
In the hotel lobby or guests room, the Wired4Fun All-in-One web computer, keyboard and mouse sit on an average-size table or desk. The computer is always on so the guest simply moves the mouse to activate the screen. A standup instruction card next to the computer explains how the unit works and how to turn it on and off.

Security
Wired4fun All-in-one web computers offer unsurpassed guests’ security. All Internet history links, cookies and temporary files are stored in RAM and are erased during the daily 1 p.m. system reboot.Wired4Fun remotely manages the network as well as the flat panel thin-client computers. To keep the Wired4Fun OS image up to date, we remotely install software enhancements eliminating the need to physically visit each desktop.

Web Terminal Hardware & Software
Our All-in-one Web computers offers low-service costs with high reliability. They deliver greater data security and virus resistance. Our All-in-one Web terminals support both 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11a/b/g wireless access and are come with a highly tuned proprietary version of Microsoft XP embedded software. This software is installed at the factory and includes 3 user-ids’ profiles: Lobby, Room and W4Fadmin.

Wired4fun All-in-one web computers put in service in Lobbies and common service areas are configured to automatically login using the Lobby user-id, password and profile. The Lobby profile launches a Wired4fun customize secure version of Internet Explorer. It is the only application that can be run under the Lobby user-id. Additionally if Internet Explorer is closed it is automatically restarted – it’s always running. We have modified Microsoft XP embedded to prevent any other applications from being launched or downloaded. The Wired4Fun All-in-one Lobby software profile also includes Shockwave, Flash, PDF DivX, and Real, itunes, Quicktime, and Media Player plug-ins, as well as viewers for MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Wired4fun All-in-one web computers put in service in Guest Rooms are configured to automatically login using the Room user-id, password and profile. The Room profile adds the capability to play DVD’s and CD’s and cleans and guest internet history links, cookies, and temporary files during once a day as part of the maintenance reboot.
